Zachary Ryan Gonzales

Zachary Ryan Gonzales, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, February
28, 2023 after a hard fought, decade long battle with depression. He was only 30 years old.
Zachary grew up in San Antonio, Texas where he attended Concordia Lutheran Grade
School and graduated from Lady Bird Johnson High School. He held a 3rd degree Black
Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
He played the piano and guitar, by ear, at an early age, becoming the neighborhood music
tutor by the time he was 15. Music ended up being both his passion and escape up until
his passing. He wrote and sang several songs that will forever be cherished by his
mother.
Besides his musical talent, Zach will be remembered for his huge smile, even bigger
heart, great hugs, fabulous cooking skills, great hair and his “famous” shoe and  clothing
collection. We thank God that he is no longer suffering and is finally able to rest in
peace.
Zach was preceded in death by his father, Homer Gonzales as well as his uncle Roger.
He is survived by his mom Nancy, step father, Edward and sister, Carelia.
