Melissa Chavez

CHAVEZ, Melissa Anne Chavez age 43 from Aurora Colorado passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2022.  Melissa was a special person who touched many people’s lives and could meet a new friend in less than 2 minutes.  Melissa’s beauty, and then her one of a kind personality would draw people in.  Melissa was an avid Denver Bronco fan, walking into any place yelling, “I am a Denver Bronco solider.” She loved many different genres of music from Oldies, Rock, R&B and Rap (but only the 90’s rap not the new stuff). Melissa loved to ride on a motorcycle.  She said “I love the wind blowing through my hair”.  Melissa will be dearly missed by her daughter Angelique Medina (Jackie Soriano), son Aaron Medina, granddaughter Aubrieanne Medina, mom Rose Monteith, brother James Monteith (Jennifer Monteith), sisters Jennifer Salazar (Nathan Salazar) Christina Chavez (Alex Folsom) ,nieces (Jessica, Adrianna, Izabella, Mya, Tarianna), nephews (Ryan, Brandon, James Jr., Drelyn), aunts, uncles, cousins, and tons of friends. She is preceded in death by her father Johnny James Chavez, and Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.  

Please join us for a Celebration of Life on February 18, 2022 at the Eagleridge Event Center 805 Eagleridge Blvd in Pueblo Colorado at 3:00 p.m.
