Gerry Cooper Obituary

Gerry Donald Cooper, 44, passed away on November 11, 2021. He was born in Denver, Colorado on  April 10, 1977 to Rick and Nancy Cooper. Gerry grew up in Littleton, Colorado, surrounded by his loving family and friends.  Gerry was the first grandson of Rudy and Elaine Ankele and one of many cherished grandchildren of Doris Cooper.  Gerry’s memory will be carried on by his sister, Nicky Cooper-Hungerford, his children, Halie Cooper and Gerry Cooper Jr. and his nephew, Rickey Cooper.  Being a Denver native, he was a diehard Denver Broncos fan. Gerry loved the great outdoors, he felt a sense of comfort when camping.  He had an avid appreciation of  the mountains.  He  enjoyed fishing trips with his dad and shared that love of fishing with his son.  Gerry was an incredible artist and passed  his artistic talent on to his daughter, Halie.

We ask that you join us for a gathering on 12/4/2021 at the South Park Clubhouse located at 2850 W Long Ave, Littleton, CO 80120 from 2-4 pm (masks required).  Gerry’s life will be celebrated with fond memories, stories, and a champagne toast.  A video tribute will be shared to remember his incredible art, to fill hearts with songs and provide loving memories of Gerry in his eternal freedom.
