Fred Meyer, 52, of Wesminster died peacefully on October 21, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, January 21, 1969, and grew up in Colorado. He briefly served in the armed forces (Army).
On June 20, 1992, Fred married his true love, Amy. They started a family and were blessed with the birth of their son, Joel. Fred and Joel bonded on fishing trips. Fred loved good food and genuine time with family. You would find Fred sitting in the backyard, in front of the firepit gazing at the stars. He loved taking long walks out in the fields near their home.
He loved his family and his two dogs, Ember and Ginger. When he was younger, he also loved going on camping and hunting trips with his friend, Mike.
Fred is survived by his son, Joel, parents, Fritz and Terry Meyer, brother, John Meyer (Jurgita), granddaughter, Aria Hensley, sister-in-law, Becky Nelson (Tracy), father-in-law, Dave Schweitzer, nephews, Jeremy (Kylie) Nelson, Andrew (Taylor) Nelson, Johnathon (Brandi) Nelson, William Nelson, Daniel Schweitzer, Oliver Schweitzer, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Fred is preceded in death by, his wife, Amy, mother-in-law, Judi Schweitzer, grandparents, Anthony and Jane Velyvis, grandparents, Walter and Elaine Meyer, and cousin, Christopher Johnson.
